Apple’s M2 MacBook Pros could arrive next March

Apple has a reputable history of launching its new products during major trade shows in the spring, and this year’s anticipated update would be no different. The latest 2018 Apple MacBook Pro models are still kind of vague, but based on what we know so far – and what has been reported by other sources – it seems likely that Apple will release new options at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, which is expected to arrive on Monday, June 5th.

Apple has announced WWDC for the last several years and given its track record, it’s a pretty safe bet that it’ll be there again next year. This year, Apple has already sent out the invites, which means they will probably take place on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

The M2 MacBook Pros won’t have an entirely unforeseen release, to put it mildly. In fact, we would have been extremely surprised if Apple didn’t reveal the new devices at WWDC this month.

As we mentioned before, they are expected to arrive in 13-inch and 15-inch versions with 8th-generation Intel processors. We don’t yet know for sure what the specs will be, but it’s safe to assume that Apple will probably stick with Intel’s current 8th-gen processors.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro should have a 13.3-inch screen, while the bigger 15-inch version may come with a 15.5-inch display. In terms of graphics, they will both feature Radeon Pro graphics. Other expected features include four Thunderbolt 3 ports and up to 16GB of RAM – which is twice as much as what was included in the previous model .

As far as storage is concerned, we expect them both to have up to 4TB of space. Aside from the new processors and graphics, the biggest improvement will be the new Thunderbolt 3 ports. In fact, they are supposed to be similar to what you get in a MacBook Pro 2017 with Apple’s older processor, which makes sense considering that both are based on Intel’s chips.

They will also have Touch ID sensors built in, which could make them more attractive to customers who prefer fingerprint security instead of passwords.

We don’t know when the upcoming M2 models will hit stores but it looks like it will take place in March next year. Pricing has yet to be announced, although we do expect a slight discount for the updated models.
