Ayala was born on March 17th, 1994 in Mexico City, Mexico. Ayala stands at a height of 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m). Jesaaelys Ayala González currently has no known boyfriend or spouse. In 2005, Jesaaelys Ayala González began to establish herself in Mexico’s urban music scene. She moved to Puerto Rico for two years and began her career on the radio. Ayala signed with Sony Music Latin in 2009 and released her debut album “En el corazón” (In the Heart) later that year. The album’s first single “Por eso” (Because of That) peaked at No.4 on the Mexican national chart and at No.22 on the US Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in 2010. “Por eso” remained on the chart for over 50 weeks, peaking at No.14 making it her most successful single to date. Jesaaelys Ayala González was born in Mexico City, Mexico on the 17th of March, 1994. She is the only child of her parents Jesús Andrés Ayala and María de Los Angeles González. Her father died in 2009 due to a brain tumor. She began playing musical instruments at age six, and she was a part of her elementary school’s choir and theatre club. Her father drove a bus for over thirty years as a primary source of income while Jesaaelys Ayala González’ mother worked as a housekeeper to support her family. She began singing and playing music professionally at age 6. She studied at the “Estudio Musical México” in Mexico City, Mexique. Jesaaelys Ayala González plays the violin and aspires to be a classical-folk singer who sings in Spanish and Latin.

Jesaaelys Ayala González started her career in 2005 when she participated in the Radio” Zocalo “CPR-FM’s” talent show “Emisora de Talento” (“Talent Radio”). In 2006, after winning the Talent Radio contest, she became the host of that show.

Ayala moved to Puerto Rico to continue her education. She spent two years there studying at Centro Universitario de Estudios Superiores de Puerto Rico in Río Piedras and La Salle’s School of Law but eventually returned to Mexico to finish high school. After high school, Ayala relocated back to Puerto Rico where she began attending Colegio San Juan Bautista on a scholarship from both the University of Puerto Rico and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Puerto Rico. Ayala joined the cast of “La Voz México” in 2011, where she became the fourth winner in season 1. She released her first studio album “En el Corazón” (In the Heart) in 2010. 

The album’s first single “Por Eso” peaked at number four on the Mexican national singles chart. The song remained on the chart for over 50 weeks, peaking at number 14 and becoming her most successful and biggest hit to date. In 2013, Ayala won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work in La Voz México after being nominated five times previously. On September 26, 2016, Ayala released her debut solo single “Sombra”. The song peaked at number six on the Mexican national singles chart and is certified platinum.

Relationship With Singer And Actor Cristian Castro

In 2017, Jesaaelys Ayala González revealed that she was in a two-year relationship with singer and actor Cristian Castro. In August 2017, Castro proposed to Ayala who accepted. However, in October 2018, Castro’s representatives confirmed that they had separated a few months prior.

Ayala has stated that she would like to pursue a career in acting. She has stated, “I would like to be a better actress, and I would like to act like someone inside my head. It is something that I want, and it is something that I will try for the rest of my life”.

Jesaaelys Ayala González stated that music is her life, but it took a lot to get where she is today due to her financial problems growing up. Ayala takes her name from her grandmother, who in turn was named after the actress Rita Hayworth. Ayala stated that she “wanted to have a [name] that would sound good to me.” She has said that the name is “the most beautiful name on Earth and I wanted it for my stage.” Her grandmother, however, did not like the idea of giving Ayala her stage name because she wanted her to be called “Florita” like herself. Jesaaelys went ahead with it and her grandmother addressed herself as Florita. When speaking to Ayala by phone until she became famous as Jesaaelys.

Jesaaelys Ayala González has expressed an interest in becoming a legal professional. In 2015, Ayala began attending a law school in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has state that she would like to earn a degree in law. Ayala is fluent in both Spanish and English, her native languages. In 2017, Ayala state that she was no longer attending law school and drop out to focus on her music career.

Jesaaelys Ayala González has expressed an interest in creating a children’s foundation to help other people who are also poor growing up, stating that “I believe that I have the ability and strength to help them.”
