The Steamboat Natchez has daily riverboat tours available, and it’s a perfect activity to do alone or to enjoy with the whole family. You are going to get to see some of the most interesting parts of New Orleans, and you can enjoy a nice meal aboard the Steamboat as well. 

Eat, Eat, Eat!


If you are going to visit the city of New Orleans, then you have to spend some time enjoying the delicious food down there. Most everything that you try is going to be on the spicy side, but it’s going to be something that you have to at least experience once.


Crawfish and other seafood just taste better down in Louisiana, but you can also find some other great cajun recipes to try out. Don’t spend time eating at a big chain restaurant, but instead, find a local restaurant that has some great food.

This is an area that you have to visit during Mardi Gras at least once in your life, but you are going to have a great time there regardless of when you visit. 

Visit WWII Museum


You should also experience some history during your trip to New Orleans, and this can be best done by checking out the WWII Museum. There are similar museums scattered throughout the country, but the museum in New Orleans is one of the best that you will see.


You aren’t going to want to spend too much of your trip in the WWII Museum, but it’s simply something that you have to check out. 


Mardi Gras World


Unless you time your trip just right, you are going to miss out on Mardi Gras in New Orleans. If you still want to experience all that Mardi Gras is about, then you can check out Mardi Gras World and get some insight as to all that takes place. 


Mardi Gras World is located in a huge warehouse, and inside is going to be an electric atmosphere. The local residents aren’t going to be there either, and it will be a chance to escape. 

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas


Another major tourist attraction in New Orleans is the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, and it is a great way to spend the day. You might not think that visiting an aquarium should be something to check out in New Orleans, but it absolutely is. 


You are going to see some of the most popular aquatic animals in the world at the aquarium, and you will also see some of the local fish that are important to the people in the city. 


Enjoy the Night Life


You might want to get some rest before your trip to New Orleans because you aren’t going to get much sleep once you are there. This is a city that never seems to sleep, especially in the fun parts of the city. 


You need to get out and enjoy the nightlife during your visit to New Orleans because this is when you are going to experience the most fun.
