Valve is reportedly planning to change the look of the map, including the TV room as well as the seat in front of it. The difference should be pretty significant. The loading screen will be changed on the Mirage map, the kitchen of the apartments will turn green, A-applications will now shine like in the CS2 trailer.
On the Mirage map, there are places with ventilation grills that could be broken in classic CS:GO (one in the ladder room, the other when entering the window from the side of the Counter Terrorist spawn). CS players know that there are gaps between the metal sheets, when fired at (or when a grenade is thrown), the grate always breaks. On the new Mirage, the vents in the staircase room can now be shot through without breaking them. The same applies to grenades. This change will likely have a big impact on the game.
