by Sonal Shukla

Apple has unveiled a new iCloud web interface, and it’s much more useful than before. It provides you with a user-friendly interface that’s easier to navigate and ought to be mastered in minutes. It also offers up a practical way for you to manage your Apple devices from the web, as well as keep track of your photos and documents on iCloud Drive.

For the first time ever, iCloud will alert you of any changes made or data downloaded from your account so that you can see if there are any unauthorized transactions being made for your information. Privacy is another important consideration: it will require two-factor authentication for all financial transactions so that your information is protected at all times.

You also have the freedom to share your data between Apple devices and other services as long as you have enabled the proper authorization. In essence, this new iCloud web interface will allow you to control more of your privacy and keep your sensitive information safe.

Apple has posted a tutorial that demonstrates how your Mac and iPhone can be used together seamlessly with this new web interface. Although it’s only compatible with Mac computers at the moment, Apple does promise to extend compatibility to iOS devices in the near future.
