Chiara Passari, Nick Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend, claims the Australian tennis player “love-bombed” her.
According to Passari, their relationship was “toxic” for the first three months because “he love-bombed me.” She called him “manipulative” and claimed Kyrgios was looking for opportunities to use them against her.
What does it mean to be “love-bombed”? According to Cosmopolitan, it’s a manipulation technique in which someone gives them excessive attention in the hopes that they will become dependent on them in return.
Having started dating in July 2020, Kyrgios and Passari broke up in October after an argument that resulted in a police visit to their Adelaide hotel.
After Passari accused Kyrgios of cheating in an Instagram post, the incident took place. He appeared to be in bed with a “naked girl” in a photo that she allegedly shared. At the time, Kyrgios reportedly refuted the accusation of cheating.

She is being honest about the relationship “not for attention, but for awareness,” according to Passari.
“Why would I want attention from a story that portrays me as frail and scattered as I kept forgiving him and returning? It’s for awareness, not attention, she said.

Hatzi and Kyrgios, who was ranked No. 13 in the world in 2016, have not made their rumored relationship public.
He has not yet responded to Passari’s remarks.

Before breaking up last month following an argument in an Adelaide hotel room, Kyrgios and Chiara Passari had been dating for roughly 18 months.
When South Australia police were informed of a verbal altercation between two occupants, Kyrgios and Passari were placed in separate rooms at their quarantine hotel after returning from the international tennis tour.
It happened after Passari accused Kyrgios of cheating on her by posting an Instagram photo of him in bed with a “naked girl.”

Kyrgios and Passari, who at the time shared an apartment, were allegedly seen leaving a Melbourne nightclub in the photo, which Passari claimed to have taken.
Kyrgios and Passari started dating in July of last year, just three months after their breakup with Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya.
Chiara Passari has now spoken out, claiming Kyrgios gaslighted her after “love-bombing” her in the beginning of their relationship.
The model told the Daily Telegraph, “He love-bombed me for the first three months.
Passari Old called Kyrgios “manipulative” and claimed he was searching for relationship flaws “to use against me” in order to end it.
As for what her family thinks of Kyrgios, Passari said: “They are OK, they just hate him.”
Kyrgios has reportedly moved on and is now dating blogger Costeen Hatzi, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Although Kyrgios and Hatzi haven’t shared any social media photos of one another, the former world No. 13 recently liked one of her posts on Instagram.

When Passari was questioned about what transpired on that fateful night at 161 nightclub during an Instagram Q&A, the allegations of cheating first surfaced. — an allusion to Melbourne club OneSixOne, where Kyrgios is said to have partied until the wee hours of the morning in February of this year.
After that, Passari published a picture of Kyrgios dozing off without a shirt.

Chiara Passari shared a screenshot of what appeared to be a text message exchange between her and Kyrgios in another post on her Instagram story.
Kyrgios claimed he “didn’t do anything” during the conversation.
Passari wrote in the Instagram story’s caption, “Guys, he had a girl in his bed and didn’t know it!! He was dozing off. Never heard of sleep cheating before.”
The tennis player writes “you are toxic” and “shut your mouth and leave me alone” in a subsequent post from Passari that seems to reveal more correspondence between the two of them.
