IPL 2022 is going starting from 26th March and will end on 29th May. It seems the biggest event in competitive gaming, offering a good chance for many youngsters to prove themselves. There are many big names in the tournaments who did not made any big impact last season of the tournament.
But this year, the tournament is stacked with new players and teams, with the event starting in a few days, we have compiled a list of players looking to make a big impact on the IPL 2022.
Following will be looking to make a good impact this season.
All- Rounders
- Andre Russel: The Caribbean all-rounder will be playing for same team this year. He was looking dangerous with his destructive batting in 2019 and 2020 editions of the tournament, but had failed in IPL 2021. He has a good strike rate above 178 and is included in top 5 strikers of the last season. KKR is showing faith and will be expecting him to perform well for the team.
- Hardik Pandya: The all-rounder got a new team this year, and will be looking to show the results of his hard work. Last season he was failed to make a good impact in the game, but will be looking for a good comeback for his new team.
- Rahul Tewatia: Who can forget the wonder boy from 2020 IPL Rahul Tewatia. He had proved himself as a match finisher that year, but failed to make his mark last year. Now he moved to LSG this year and will probably be looking for a good comeback this year.
Batters
- Nicholas Pooran: Pooran was a big failure in last year IPL. He just added 85 runs in 12 matches. He can single handedly turn the figures for his team. This year he has moved from KXIP to SRH. He has a good chance to prove his potential this year.
- Manish Pandey: The middle order batsman had made some good scores last season but had failed to finish with a win for his team. LSG has picked himfor 4.60Cr this year and will surely looking to make impact with a good strike rate.
- David Warner: This Aussie Cricketer was having a bad luck in the IPL last year. He didn’t got any support from his team. SRH dropped him. he will be looking to prove himself this year for his new team DC.
- Eoin Morgan: The English Cricketer has been playing for KKR. He had a good season for his team in 2020 IPL, was not good enough in 2021. His team will be looking for his good form as a middle order batsman.
- MS Dhoni: MS has proved himself as a good captain once again last season by winning the title again, but he is failing as a good batsman now a days. His team is looking for his comeback as batsman.
Bowlers
- Kuldip Yadav: The wrist spinner for KKR will be looking to make an impact for his team in the tournament. Last two season we didn’t seen any good performance from him. He was expensive, so KKR dropped him this season. Hope he will make a good comeback for his new Team DC.
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Bhuvi wasn’t well with the ball last season. He was expensive and got only 6 wickets in 11 matches. Eventually RR has picked him back in the team . With his good bowling pace he is looking to make impact for his team.
There are Many other players as well who are looking to make good reputations with the fans. These players will be making a big comeback this season of IPL.
