Apple iPad Pro (2022) review: bump the chip

by Anjali Anjali

Two years ago in 2017, Apple released its latest iPad. But that thing was no ordinary tablet. It boasted a whopping A10X Fusion chip and also did something revolutionary with its camera: it could take both portrait and landscape shots automatically, even if you didn’t press the button. This year in 2022, Apple is set to release the successor to this device: the iPad Pro [2022] which will feature a new A1898X Fusion chip that’s even more powerful than before!

If you’re wondering what else this machine will be able to do, well… the answer is: a lot. This will be the first iPad that supports iOS 12, as well as all new features such as wallpapers, enhanced emojis and voice assistant updates. Something else you’ll discover pretty soon if you buy one is that it will also support all your old iOS apps, even ones not updated for a couple of years!

But that’s not all: the iPad Pro [2022] will also have a new feature called Pencil Mode, which automatically makes use of pencils when they’re detected next to it. It’s like magic! For more information on the upcoming tablet, please check out our full review below.

Clearly, the iPad Pro [2022] is going to be a very exciting device and it’s easy to see why. It will come with an enhanced A1898X Fusion chip that’s even more powerful than before! For example, it will now support the 4K display resolution, which means that it’ll be ideal for video watching and gaming.
