The complaint: A judge rejected Kyle Rittenhouse’s request to have Whoopi Goldberg’s lawsuit against him dismissed.More than 14,000 individuals interacted with a post that claimed to be about a $25 million defamation lawsuit Kyle Rittenhouse whoopi goldberg had brought against comedian and “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg online.

The “Dunning-Kruger Times” report dated April 24 claimed Rittenhouse sued Goldberg for defamation in April 2022 and that Goldberg’s petition to dismiss the case was denied by the court in the “Wisconsin Western District US Court of Writs and Affidavits.”After being cleared of all charges in a trial that took place in November 2021 about the shooting of two individuals during a demonstration in 2020 following the passing of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Rittenhouse attracted widespread media attention.

Users praised the alleged victory in comments on posts about the claim on Facebook and Twitter.

Good for him, a user commented.”I’m very relieved to see that justice will finally be done!”

 

Experts believe he will receive every dime

 

Experts predict that he will receive every penny and then some, according to the Facebook page America’s Last Line of Defense, which posted the article on April 24.More than 14,000 individuals interacted with a post that claimed to be about a $25 million defamation lawsuit Kyle Rittenhouse whoopi goldberg had brought against comedian and “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg online.

But neither the story nor anything else published by the Dunning-Kruger Times is true.It’s a component of a Facebook page and network of satirical websites that, according to its developer, target conservatives.There is no lawsuit even though Rittenhouse and Goldberg have a history.Rittenhouse announced his intention to set up a fund to support litigation against journalists to Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson in February 2022, naming Goldberg as one of the potential defendants.According to the Guardian, he stated in the episode that “Whoopi Goldberg is on the list.”After I was exonerated by a jury of my peers, she referred to me as a murderer.

Two people were slain, Goldberg had stated in an episode of “The View” on ABC.It seems murder to me.I apologize. 

The “Dunning-Kruger Times” reveals on its “about” page that it is a component of Christopher Blair’s America’s Last Line of Defense, a “network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery.”In November 2021, according to USA TODAY, Blair released a parody piece about a fictitious Rittenhouse lawsuit against Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar.

Although this disclaimer is not visible on the Facebook posts themselves, it is included in the “about” pages of every website and Facebook page in the network.Blair emailed USA TODAY and stated, “I appreciate every fact-check.”

There isn’t a case like that.

On the website from which the claim was made, it is stated that “nothing on this page is real” and that it is satirical.A parody website reported that Kyle Rittenhouse whoopi goldberg had “filed a $60M slander lawsuit” against The View co-hosts.Social media users have taken Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar seriously.

On November 19, a jury cleared adolescent Rittenhouse of murder in the shooting deaths of two men. The case exposed differences in gun rights and sparked a heated discussion about the parameters of self-defense in the US.

The article, headed “Rittenhouses File $60M Defamation.  Suit Against Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldgerg,” was posted on PatriotsUnite.com. A  “subsidiary” of the well-known parody network America’s Last Line of Defense. The website identifies itself as a “network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery” (here) and claims to be.

Additionally, it states on the page that “this website contains only fiction. But without any acknowledgement of it being a parody. The allegation has since propagated over social media. Social media users have said things like, “Best news ever,” and “I can’t wait to watch this.

 

His attorneys have not brought any lawsuits.

 

The phrases “LET’S GO KYLE” and “They’re always demanding accountability. By email. Rittenhouse’s attorney Mark Richards informed Reuters that the assertion is “not true.  According to David Hancock, a representative for the Rittenhouse family. The Rittenhouse team, Kyle and the rest of his lawyers. I  have not filed any legal actions against any organizations or any single person in particular.”

Reuters has previously refuted statements made by the America’s. Last Line of Defense network that were taken seriously by social media users. The jury found 18-year-old Rittenhouse not guilty of all charges, including two counts of homicide. One count of attempted homicide for wounding. A third man, and two counts of recklessly endangering safety on August 25, 2020. In Kenosha, Wisconsin, during racial justice protests marred by arson, rioting, and looting.

VERDICT

The allegations that Kyle Rittenhouse whoopi goldberg sued Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg for defamation were made in jest.
