Joyce Byers from Stranger Things – Wiki, Bio and more facts

Joyce Byers – For many people in the 1980s and 1990s, it all started with Stranger Things. The horror science fiction thriller premiered on Netflix Aug. 23, 2016, but the show had already been adapted into a highly anticipated game by Telltale Games.

Stranger Things (2016) is an American science fiction thriller TV series created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer. The show is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s. A year prior to the events of the series, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) disappeared during a game of hide and seek whilst his friends were busy closing a portal that had been opened by a girl named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). Will’s mother Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and older brother Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) looked everywhere for him but to no avail. The local police chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) also tried to help, but still nothing happened.

Strange Things Season 2 and the new game Byers’ Adventures continue the search for Will. The first season also has a number of other players, like Joyce’s best friend, Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer), her boyfriend Steve (Joe Keery), love interest Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), and teacher turned caretaker Barb Holland (Shannon Purser). Nancy’s younger brother, Will Byers Jr., (Caleb McLaughlin) also plays a part in the drama.

Stranger Things 2 (2017) is more than a simple continuation of the first season. The whole series has been incredibly popular, and fans of the show are hungry for more stories. While Netflix has yet to announce a second season of Stranger Things, it was reported that they had been planning a spinoff series in which Nancy Wheeler would be featured.

This spinoff would have taken place in the same setting as Stranger Things, but as a completely independent story. According to reports, Netflix has since put a halt on these plans, and there is no word yet on how this will affect the continuing stories of Stranger Things 2′ and Stranger Things 3.

The Duffer brothers are reportedly not involved with the new series, so if it does happen, will be a completely new show. The show might be set in another universe however.

According to the reports, Netflix is developing two new shows based on the Stranger Things universe. One series would focus on Will Byers and his family, while the other would feature Mike and Eleven. As for Stranger Things 3, it is unclear if anything will be done about that, but according to fans of the show, a third season hasn’t been ruled out.

Winona Ryder, who plays Joyce Byers, is reportedly contractually obligated to appear in Stranger Things 3, but has said she won’t do it without David Harbour (Jim Hopper) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven). She said that they are all a family, and she turned down the first season of Stranger Things because Harbour wasn’t involved.

The cast of Stranger Things has been busy in the months leading up to the premiere of Season 2. David Harbour went from being a relative unknown to a major Hollywood player. Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown went from tween actors to having their names in the same sentence as A-list stars. Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, has also gone on to star in films.

Throughout Season 1 of Stranger Things, the kids had to deal with a series of mysterious disappearances, strange attacks and monster sightings. Season 2 expands on that as the kids are still trying to find Will after almost a year. The new season also puts greater focus on parents, especially Joyce Byers.

In Stranger Things Season 2, Joyce is still trying to figure out what happened to Will after he disappeared during a game of hide-and-seek. She is also dealing with the unexpected pregnancy of her boyfriend Bob (Sean Astin). Nancy Wheeler is still searching for the truth about Barb, who disappeared in Season 1.

Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair are looking for more supernatural experiences, and Steve Harrington is trying to find his place in Hawkins. Meanwhile, Bob is trying to prove he is not a bad guy as many in town believe. The events that unfold in Season 2 will make the people of Hawkins question if they really know their enemies.

Creator Matt Duffer said that this season would be lighter than the first, with more humor and heartbreak than the show’s first outing. The first season had its moments of levity, but Season 2 took those moments to another level.

As for the new generation, they are all a part of the Upside Down. Will (Noah Schnapp) is still searching for his missing friend, and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) are not sure what their next steps should be. The town is also dealing with an incoming storm set to hit Hawkins. According to reports, the first trailer for Stranger Things Season 2 shows the storm setting in as school children and teachers begin panicking.

Ahead of the premiere of Stranger Things 2, Netflix released a video that uses some lines from the show and have fans guess the character that said it rather than the associated actor. You can watch the video here.

So what are the chances of a Stranger Things Season 3? According to co-creator Ross Duffer, the show will be going four seasons in total. The show has built up a lot of hype and there’s a theory that Season 3 will pick up where Stranger Things Season 2 left off.

The theory states that Eleven was not revived at the end of Season 2. A new video also reveals Millie Bobby Brown speaking (a little) French before her character vanished in the final moments of the season finale.

The first two seasons of Stranger Things were a critical and commercial success for Netflix, so fans are eager to see what comes next for the show. While the Duffer brothers have said they are currently working on a potential spinoff focusing on Nancy Wheeler, nothing has been confirmed yet.

The series is so popular in part because of its nostalgia for 1980s films, TV shows and games. The first season was inspired by films like Poltergeist and E.T. The game Dungeons & Dragons was also a source of inspiration for the creators. In Season 2, the series has even more nostalgia-driven moments to satisfy fans of the original season.

The creators are not only inspired by classic films and games, but by coming-of-age movies from the 1980s as well. They also have a deep appreciation for Stephen King novels, which are also a major inspiration for their work. The show is a love letter to some of their favorite authors and children’s stories from when they were growing up.
