Michael Jackson: an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and philanthropist

by Sonal Shukla

There’s a reason why Michael Jackson is often credited with changing the way people danced, listened to music and bought records.

Michael Jackson Early life:

Michael Jackson was born in the South Central area of Gary, Indiana. As a child, he was very close to his family and enjoyed spending time with them performing as a child. About Michael, one of his sisters once said, “He has always loved music. He lived for music,” adding, “Michael was like any other kid – he loved sweets, he loved playing with toys.”

His mother, Katherine, had her dance studio and would often take Michael with her when she performed at local events. It’s no surprise that Michael developed a love for music and dance at a very young age.

He was encouraged by his mom to explore every kind of art while he was growing up. As he grew older, Michael started experimenting with many different dance styles, such as ballet, jazz and even theatrical dance. He also played the violin and piano, so it’s not hard to see why he had such an incredible musical skill set.

Music career

As a child, Michael Jackson dreamed about being famous. As he grew up, his love for music and dance inspired him to pursue his dream of being on stage as a singer. Michael often dreamed about becoming a member of a group like the Beatles or the Jackson 5. He wanted to be an entertainer because he believed that if you were an artist, you would always be able to pay your bills.

In 1968, at age 10, Michael got the chance to perform in front of an audience when he attended a talent show with his mother at a local community center in Gary.

At the age of 12, he recorded his first record called “Rockin’ Robin,” which was released in 1971. He then signed a contract with Motown Records in 1972 and had his first hit single at 13 titled “Got to Be There.

After Motown, Michael’s music career took off, and he had a string of hits. It was only a matter of time before he became a huge star. After “Got to Be There” was released, Michael’s record label succeeded with the song, making him very popular in certain demographics.

In 1973, Michael released another single called “The Jackson 5.” The song became an international hit and made him an international superstar, but it never captured the same popularity as Michael’s first single.

First child sexual abuse accusations and first marriage-

In 1994, Michael’s first child sexual abuse accusations came to light.

Michael initially denied the claims but clarified that he “was not completely innocent.” Ultimately, he settled the case out of court with the singer alleging they had a consensual sexual relationship.

After being accused of molestation and other sexual abuses, Michael entered into a divorce from his first wife in 1994.

Michael Jackson History, second marriage, and fatherhood-

In 1996, Michael’s life changed when he married Debbie Rowe. This marriage was very special because it would be the one that would give birth to his three children.

Michael said of his entry into fatherhood, “I also have a responsibility to my children. I have a responsibility to my family.”

Michael’s career started growing during his time with Debbie and their first child. He released his album called ” HIStory: Past, Present and Future Book 1″ in 1995, which was one of the best-selling albums of all time and won Michael several awards.

Final years and This Is It –

In addition to his incredibly successful music career, Michael was very visible in the entertainment industry. He appeared in many movies and made cameos on TV shows.

In the 2001 America’s Got Talent show, he performed with other stars such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Shaggy. Michael has also worked with Usher, Janet Jackson and Wyclef Jean.

Many claims that he was always trying to come back from what others thought would be a grave situation.

DEATH-

Michael’s life ended in 2009 at the age of 50. He was found dead in his home at age 50 on June 25, 2009. A coroner said he had died from an overdose of Propofol and Oxygen administered by his doctor Conrad Murray.
