Shilpa Shinde early life
Shinde was born on 28 August 1977 in a Maharashtrian family. His father, Dr. Satyadev Shinde, was a High Court judge, while his mother, Geeta Satyadev Shinde, is a homemaker. He has two older sisters and a younger brother. Shinde was a student of psychology but failed to pursue her bachelor’s degree. Her father wanted her to study law, but she was not interested in studying the subject.

Shilpa Shinde Personal life
Shinde met actor Romit Raj on the sets of the TV show Maayka (2007–2009). Soon after that both of them started dating each other. They got engaged in 2009 but later called it quits.
Shinde went into depression when his father died of Alzheimer’s disease in 2013. Her father did not want her to take up acting as a profession. Shinde said, “He never wanted me to get into acting but when I insisted he gave me a year’s time and I became an actress. Shilpa always wanted to become an actress, but her family was against it. Despite that, she followed her dream and started her career with Marathi and Telugu films but did not succeed.
