SAMS Odisha Merit List Date 2021
The merit list will be released on 09 September 2021 which can be viewed only from the official website of SAMS. Students whose names will be given in this list can make their admission. If your name will not be given in this merit list then you cannot take admission.
After this merit list, the second merit installment can be released on 21st September 2021 but till now no clear information has been released about it. We cannot change the name of the students who will be given in the merit list as per our wish.

Student admission in junior (+2), and degree (+3) colleges was done in offline mode, where students had to visit each college to apply for admission (for example if a student was admitted to five colleges). wants to apply then he has to go to every college) which became a tough task for the students. Considering the amount of effort and expense made through the offline admission process, the online (web-based) admission process was planned by the Department of Higher Education. It was later renamed as Student Academic Management System (commonly known as SAMS).
This initiative was started in 60 Junior Colleges during the academic session 2009-10 and was expanded to 169 Junior Colleges and 53 Degree (+3) Colleges during the session 2010-11. Covering all Junior Colleges (including +2 Self-financed Colleges) and 162 Degree Colleges (+3) during Session 2011-12 after successful implementation of Online Admission under SAMS Project during Session 2010-11 and 2011-12 decision has been taken.

All junior and degree/autonomous students have come into SAMS fold after getting good response from college and students and it has been approved by Odisha government, students take online admission in junior/higher secondary school and pursue arts, commerce degree (+3) take classes. and Science streams with vocational and Sanskrit educational institutions.
This admission process done through the internet and computer is called e-admission. At present, SAMS covers additional courses in addition to the above i.e. correspondence, ITI, Diploma, Teacher Education, Physical Education of various departments. Apart from e-admission, SAMS also maintains academic and financial records of each student admitted in various educational institutions.
