Nana Patekar started doing theater at the age of just 5. He acted in various award-winning plays including ‘Hamidabaichi Kothi’ and ‘Purusha’ before working in Marathi films and television. When he was in the ninth grade, his father got cheated in partnership, which worsened the financial condition of the house. After this Nana left the theater and worked for a living.
